Custom NZ motorhome route plan

A day-by-day route built around your dates, vehicle, and the stops that matter. Drive times honest to the hour, holiday-park suggestions per night, and a shortlist of what to book first.

What a custom route plan includes

  • A day-by-day route — start city, end city, where you sleep each night, total drive distance per day. Most plans run 14-21 days.
  • Honest drive times — built around 200-300 km per day, not 400. Mountain passes and single-lane bridges costed in.
  • Holiday park or DOC site suggestions per night, with the trade-offs called out (powered vs. unpowered, self-contained-only vs. open to all).
  • Vehicle-class recommendation — 2-berth, 4-berth or 6-berth, automatic, self-contained or not — matched to the route and party size.
  • Booking order — what to confirm first (vehicle, ferry, Milford cruise) and what can wait.
  • Cost range — realistic all-in NZD range across vehicle, fuel, holiday parks, ferry, food and activities.

What it doesn't include

  • We don't book anything for you. The plan tells you what to book and where — you do the booking direct with the rental fleet and the operators.
  • We don't take payment for the plan itself. We earn from rental fleet commissions if you book through one of the fleets we recommend.
  • We don't promise availability. By the time we send the plan, prices and availability can move — book what you've decided on within 48 hours of receiving the plan.

How it works

  1. You send the form on this page — rough month, party size, must-see stops, biggest unanswered question.
  2. We reply the same business day with clarifying questions (usually 3-5) about your travel style and any non-negotiables.
  3. Within 2-3 business days of your answers we send a draft route, drive times, vehicle suggestion, and cost range.
  4. One round of revisions is included. After that the plan is yours to use however you like.

Same-business-day reply, NZ hours. We're not a booking agent — this is a planning conversation.
